How does it work ?

For over a century scientists have known about the germ-killing properties of UV-C light. Because this frequency of light is filtered out by the Earth’s atmosphere microorganisms have no defense against it. It works by scrambling their DNA which prevents them from reproducing. This can effectively kill up to 99% of airborne contaminates such as viruses , mold , bacteria and even odors inside your hvac system and the air coming in contact with it .

Commercial series

The Fresh-Aire UV Commercial Series Airborne Duct System is designed to maximize disinfection of dangerous airborne pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, and mold spores. This duct-mounted UVGI system is designed for intensive airstream UV-C irradiation. The system features from 2 to 6 UV high-output germicidal UV lamps which sterilize airborne biological contaminates as they pass by. The ADS system is fully customizable and can be configured to fit a wide variety installation parameters. This system is not recommended for surface disinfection of any materials that are not highly UV light resistant. Instead, use our Tubular Rack System or Modular Rack System with normal-output UV-C lamps.

Proven Effective

In the past UV light has been shown to be effective against influenza strains (including ‘bird’ flu and H1N1 ‘swine’ flu) as well as SARS, legionella, TB, pneumonia, German measles, and many other airborne infectious diseases.
